America!
A nostalgic trip to the states, in verse. As his salute to America, Tom Mach has written a book containing insightful information on each of our 50 states plus the country as a whole. While written in poetry format , all the facts it contains are accurate and would serve as additional information for those who want to learn more about the states. The verses given for each state include a photograph relating to that state. For example, did you know that Indiana was the Covered Bridge Capital of the World or that each island in Hawaii has an official color?

Persistence, Then Peace — one writer's relentless journey
Tom Mach had no ordinary experience as a writer. No, By the time he was 76 years old, he had gone through the labyrinthine trek of being a 17-year-old novelist, writing articles about various topics, being discouraged by critique groups, getting seven literary agents, attending more writing conferences than a human should attend, filling his room with rejection slips as well as published articles and awards, finding his niche and success, and teaching others how to learn from all of this insanity. An inspirational true story by a writer who survived and succeeded.
